What we collect and why

VeriWig collects the contact details, preferences and messages you provide when asking about a wig, applying for a trade account or buying from us. We use these details to answer enquiries, prepare quotes, manage accounts, arrange delivery, resolve issues and prevent fraud.

We record browsing and product-selection activity to understand demand. Essential cookies keep your session and remember referral or campaign information. We do not operate an advertising-cookie network.

Who processes your information

Authorized VeriWig staff access information needed for their work. Vercel hosts the website, Neon hosts the hosted database, and Vercel Blob or Cloudflare R2 stores uploaded files. Fincra processes payments; we do not store your full card details. Delivery partners receive information needed to deliver your order. If WhatsApp API messaging is enabled, Meta processes those messages. Providers may process data outside Nigeria.

We do not sell your personal information. Quality evidence and customer records are access controlled.

Messages and your choices

We may send updates needed for an enquiry or order you initiate. Promotional messages are optional and are not enabled without your separate choice. You can change your preference in your trade account or private order page, or tell your specialist to stop promotions. Replying STOP on an enabled WhatsApp API conversation stops queued messages; a message already sent cannot be recalled.

Retention and deletion

We review personal-data deletion requests individually. Open purchases and disputes must be resolved first. Our initial review window for linked purchase records is 365 days from order creation. This is an operating default, not a statutory deadline. Financial and audit records may be retained after identifying details are removed where required for accounting, disputes or applicable obligations.

Expiry of this window does not automatically delete your records. Staff review requests and any applicable retention obligations before anonymizing eligible information.

Access, corrections and complaints

You can request a copy of your information or deletion review from your trade account or private order page. To correct information or make a privacy complaint, contact your VeriWig specialist through your existing conversation. We verify identity separately before releasing records or completing erasure.
